The second years had a group crit on monday the 4th of February where we talked and exchanged opinions on each other’s work. We all sat in a circle with our books taking it in turn to show and explain our development so far this year. I was interested in seeing what the other students have been doing because there’s a lot of different styles in my group. I showed everyone my book and I received some positive feedback from Paul, he said he liked the simplicity in my work but also how detailed it was at the same time. Wendy, another student from the group said my paintings reminded her of the Easter Island heads. I was pleased with the feedback.
This is one of my works that was reviewed in the Crit, a lot of people had positive comments towards it.
